Well now, remember you're asking someone who knows nothing about puters. They request of you to "share your desk top" through a device called "Easy Assist". I did see him go into the partitions page. It was just a matter of clicks so I have no idea what he did. As for thr back up of info...I was asked if I had everything I wanted to save backed up, but AOL backs and stores "Saved on AOL Mail" and "Favorites", anything else was easily replaced as I don't do a lot of work in Word or whatever. And I had discs for WXP and 9.0VR.
