Question about Boot Timeout in XP
« on: October 08, 2007, 04:11:48 AM »
I am using Windows XP Home Edition.
I was just looking at 'msconfig' (yes, I shouldn't be in there) but I found something under 'BOOT.INI' that said boot timeout. I don't use dual boot, but would making this value less, make Windows XP start faster?

Thank you.

It is the pause between the boot selection menu and Windows starting to load....
If you're going to edit it make sure to make a good backup copy...
