computer cutting out

 8)hi my pc starts up fine but after a short while it shuts down . im kinda thinking its the processor fan but im not sure . any help given would be very gratefull . thank you ??? ??? :-[

Open your computer side panel. If you have regular house fan, put it next to your computer, turn it on, and try using your computer for a while. See, if it helps. :P

    You're thinking right if the pc turns off or restarts without any BSOF, then its the fan. Go to your local computer hardware store and buy thermal paste and put some of it between the cpu and the fan.
