    Hi,

Is there a way of mapping network drive to our own local drive say C-drive. I know that the mapping network drive is used for mapping to the network drive but i like it to map to my own C-drive

My machine runs on XP Pro

    Not sure what you mean....

If you want to some how make your "C" drive part of a network drive than the answer is no.

If you want to add a shortcut to the network drive and have it show up as another drive on your machine...something like drive "L" ...than yes you can do that.

open a command prompt and type...

    net use L: "\\SERVER_NAME\Share_NAME"
