Combining 2 heatsink fans

I want to know whether this will work ..... if it wont work can someone give me a another option please , i want to provide more cooling for my cpu and computer as a whole , i have a spare system fan ....... and i want to remove the fan of the spare one and stick it on top of my current one thats cooling the cpu....

Heres a picture of what i want to do , ive also provided a picture of the inside of my computer , to see if you guys know where else it can go if this fails ...

My guess would be because of the dynamics of airflow mechanics at best they would cancel each other out.

( That sounded pretty impressive HuH ? ?)

Seriously if this was an option the CPU/board manufacturers would have implemented such a setup years ago...

There are some Zahlman cooling options abvailable for that Socket 478 board that won't break your piggybank...i would do more research into those.

Ok how about just attaching the other fan and sticking in one of my empty parts of my computer.... :)

A case fan would move more air. CPU fans are designed for heat dissipation in a small area...not for moving air by volume...

    Whats the point of two fans though? Why not just buy a more powerful and bigger one? I got myself Hyper 6+ and it works quietly and good too.

      If you really need more air on the cpu, search google for adapters that allow you to mount a 120mm fan in place of the 80mm.
      If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything.

      Keep an eye on the CPU temperature... See if there's any actual benefit...
