Microsoft Home Publishing 2000
« on: October 19, 2007, 07:04:49 AM »

Hello All,
Some help if you please.  I have Windows XP & since last week when I start Microsoft Word a small panel appears saying "Microsoft Home Publishing 2000, Please wait while Windows configures Microsoft Home Publishing 2000".  This panel stays up for 4 or 5 minutes & I cannot access Word until it goes -  it is a nuisance.
Now I have this program (Microsoft Home Publishing 2000) installed on my computer I think it's from my old computer previous to Windows XP, but I have never used the program.
Can anyone suggest how to get rid of the pop-up.
Regards Tony

Is Microsoft Home Publishing 2000 is your Add or Remove Programs list?  If so, and if you never use it, why not remove it?
