Computer Tower

I have a problem with my gateway me tower . I be seating at my computer and all of the sudden it turns off by it's self   ??? >:( . I don't push any button or go to the menu and turn it of or put it in sleep mode.  I wanna know what the problem is ??? and if I need to invest in a new tower or new computer. Any advice would be great thanks for the help. ;D :) :D

It could be number of things causing this. First, what protection do you have on your computer?
