    how do you enable task manager in windows xp pro.....whenever i ctrl+alt+del it says it has beed disabled by the administrator....but i am the administrator...i have the only account?

    Could be caused by a virus. What protection do you have?

      i deleted all my protection because i was told it could be causing another prob. i had....

      Bad idea. You need to get something to proctect against viruses. AVG free is a good one. Also, you also should get something like Spybot Search and destroy to protect against malware and turn you firewall on. You should start your computer in "safe mode" then run both protection programs to ensure your computer is clean. Please post back after you have done that and let us know what you found.
