Hi all
A friend has just got a hp touch screen PC with a built in web cam, but is unable to get it to work, he has msn and we went thro the set up all was ok but no picture " unable to connect web cam as there is no web cam or it being used by another program", we put a normal web cam in a usb and it all work OK

any help would be great,

What's the model number of this device?
Did it come with an installation CD of some sort? If it's a new piece of hardware that didn't come with the computer, it will need drivers.
Has your friend tried contacting the HP support?

Hi Yes,
Contacted HP, ran thro a set up which works, next time it did not, he is not to keen to go thro this again @ £ !!!!'s

Just found out that the pc is a "Hp Touchsmart Iq 771"
