I tried Ctrl., ALT, Delete.....nothing.  I tried to right click.....nothing.  I've even tried to restore the system back two days ago & I still can't get any of my icons or stars menu back?!?!?!?!

I'm using Windows XP.  I've tried System Recovery & when I reboot,  my icons & start menu come up but disappear about 4 seconds later.

Did you receive any message after pressing Alt + Ctrl + Del ? What happened ? Please log in safe mode and try to do system restore.
