Pavilion DV6500 Vista to XP Pro
« on: November 01, 2007, 05:04:33 PM »
I've installed Windows XP without a problem, and I've got drivers for the audio and the wireless connection. The problem is there are seeming no video drivers for this model that are compatible with Windows XP.

A little about the system from the Dxdiag command. As you can see, it recognized nothing from the video card. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

First, go to HP site, and find out what video card/chip your laptop uses, and then we can try to find appropriate driver.

That would be important wouldn't it? Sorry, it's a NVIDIA® GeForce™ 7150M.

I can see, my link doesn't work, so you'll have to go through Nvidia selections by yourself.
Go here:
http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us

make sure, your selections look like this:

and hit "Search".

I'm little bit confused...
Are jackyrecalde, and cydonia same person, same computer, or what's going on?
