I assume, you have your sound back? Nice job :)

You also mentioned question marks next to:
-Ethernet Controller
-PCI Modem
What do those entries say under right click>Properties?
Are you having any problems with Internet connection? What kind of connection is it?

    its my wireless... dont use it because its easier to use  a wire... the other one i have NO CLUE what it is...

      my internet is working just fine--- im connecting through a wire to our router.... the computer also has a wireless card but i dont use it so i didnt install the CD for it

      I have no clue what the other device left is.

        i just plug the cord in if it doesnt fit i swich it... i just take an ethernet cable plug it into the bigger slot then plug the other end into the router...

        Still...you said, that you have yellow question mark next to "Ethernet Controller". This is not good, since it controls your Internet connection. You may need to update its driver. What does it say under right click>Properties?

            oh well i give up. im going to knoppix if i can somehow compile a copy of it using the sorce to install it on my second partition withought using a disk... im set.

              i somehow managed to get it into a second partition (the sorce, not iso)  so that i could run knoppix... but i cant modify boot.ini (the file that is your startup and incharge of all the partititions)... i dont think its what you do though broni... (malware remobal specialist it says on the left...)
