How to disable ctfmon.exe in running processes?? (Resolved)

I have ended process in task manager and also in msconfig. But when I reboot, its back. How do I get it to stay disabled?  I did a little research on it and it says it can be safely disabled if not needed as it does use system resources. Any advice is appreciated. Thank you.

Windows XP Pro SP2
4000+ AMD Athlon 64x2 processor

Just for future reference in case anyone else needs to know how to get rid of ctfmon.exe. No need for all the confusing steps to try and follow at Microsoft. I did a simple online parse of Hijackthis and it was all marked red and I had Hijackthis fix it. Quite simple really. I had already found the info at Microsoft when I posted here but I was hoping for someone to be able to suggest an easier way. Anyway back to the point. You need to remove ctfmon.exe just use Hijackthis and fix it.
