I need to know the top 10 brands of psu there are out there .

Anyhelp .

Im looking for a 500watt.

Don't know if you how much you're willing to spend, but this one, and this brand, should be on your list: FSP Group Blue Storm II 500 ATX 2.2V 500W Power Supply.  Here's one that's more affordable: FSP Group (Fortron Source) AX500-PN ATX2.2 500W Power Supply

    You can't just know that you need 500w, you have to know how many amps you need.

    Tell us what components you need to power, exactly.

    No no jess , i do know what i need 500 watts is more than sufficient , p4 3.2ghz , 7800 nvidia gpu and my asrock p4vm890 ......
