resizing web pages and user profile problems
« on: November 11, 2007, 09:39:56 AM »
I wiped my hard drive and reinstalled Windows XP and then everything else. There are a couple issues that I need help with.

First, when  running Firefox (or Explorer for that matter) the page needs to be resized to fit the screen. It's too large by about 1/3 and I don't know how to resize it.

Then when switching between users sometimes I will get a white screen that
gradually turns to black and essentially shuts down the computer.

I've also gotten this error message...

"Windows cannot load the user's profile but has logged you on with the default profile for the system.
It does not log me onto default. It proceeds to the proper user profile.

DETAIL - The system has attempted to load or restore a file into the registry, but the specified file is not in a registry file format.

I'd appreciate any thoughts.
