Firefox rendering issue
« on: November 17, 2007, 12:13:07 AM »
I love my Firefox browser and it works better and more securely than IE but it doesn't render correctly at  Club Pogo games.  I am a dial- up diehard, running Windows ME with an  1.5 ghz Athlon processor. I have 256mb RAM.  I  get a layering on images.  They look like double exposures.  Is there a plug in available to correct that?  I haven't experienced this problem at other web sites, only Club Pogo.  I don't notice it at the free pogo games.  Maybe they use  different image file types.
My hard drive is wearing out.  I have heard the dreaded "death rattle" many times.   Could it be the failing hard drive that is causing the rendering problem?

I used to have the same problem at Pogo with my win98 and firefox.

Using the IE Tab was the only way to get it to work right. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1419

It switches rendering engines with one click.

You better start with solving THE ABOVE issue!
Back up your data. Get diagnostic program from your HD manufacturer.
