    Difference between q6600 bulk and q6600?
    « on: November 20, 2007, 03:11:36 PM »
    Hi guys!

    So, whats the difference between q6600 bulk and "normal" q6600?

    The only difference i see is that bulk has 8 mb cache, "normal" has 2 x 4 mb cache (Same thing? :D)

    , and the bulk is 5€ more expensive -.-

    Thanx, FilluX

      i was under the assumption that the q6600 only comes in one make, and that is the q6600. where did you stumble upon this "normal" q6600 and "bulk" q6600?

        Alright, I'll explain..

        Bulk = OEM = No cooler, No box.
        Retail = Box, Cooler, etc.

        You still get the warranty and what counts, and you don't pay 20$ for a box (in the case of another product).

        Just make sure it's the G0 stepping, not the B3

            i suppose with all the people, including me, that buy aftermarket CPU cooling solutions, it would be cheaper for us not to buy the cooler that we wouldnt use anyway.
