    page cannot be displayed

    Hi,
    My problem is, I reinstalled Windows 98se
    over the same version due to getting errors.
    I have my desktop up, but when I try to open
    IE5,or Google,or Yahoo,my E-Mail, all I get
    is, The page cannot be displayed.
    I can go into My Computer,My Documents
    but not the internet....
    Any help please.

    Did you re-install the MBoard drivers ? ?
    These will contain the drivers that make your Network card work properly.

    These will contain the drivers that make your Network card work properly.


    Patio is right, check your motherboard drivers if your network card is built into the modem. If your card isn't built in or you're using some other type of connection with your modem (i.e. USB), check the drivers for the card and modem.

    If all your drivers are updated and installed correctly, check the cables and power to your modem/router and make sure it's connected to the internet properly. (Most modems/routers have a light that indicates this, check your user's manual for your particular model)

        I hve a Linksys and that wasn't getting read.
        Had the yellow ? in Device Manager.
