i cannot open my saved video from windows movie maker to winamp... is it possible?

did you publish the movie or is it just the save file? If you make winamp your default it should use winamp automatically. Im just posting to make sure you did it right. listen to broni. hes smarter than me.

i'm sorry but not too familiar with the program.... i don't know how to identify what format is my windows movie maker and if i open the file with winamp, file is there but no time duration. so when i click play nothing opens in winamp video. this is what i did in my movie maker.. i import pictures and audio to make it a play like movie and when i save it.. a movie maker file icon is saved... i want to send it through e-mail but the file is not recognized ...how is that..

yeah it really sounds like its not published...
when you try to save it click File>Save Movie File instead of Save Project.

when i tried to save my project, there is only 1 option in "save as type" = Windows Movie Maker Project (.MSWMM)   This is what i wnna know... how can i send movie maker project to email bec when i send it thru email, it says "the project contains source files that are missing or that have been modified or import.  Your project cannot be saved as a movie until the source files have been located or deleted from the project".

Wow I’ve got it… what I did is I save the movie file.. then the save movie wizard appears….and I choose “E-mail (save and send your movie as an email attachment by using you default  e-mail program) after saving the movie… there appears two options (1) play the movie (2) save a copy of my movie on my computer… I choose the second option.. and there again appears a save as type “Windows Media video files (.WMV). Then check the location where I saved the file …  A winamp icon is there… now I can watch it in my winamp… thank you so much for your effort and time….

No i have not used before it or no idea. I am using another one. But i also would like to know how to convert as you want. So if anyone know please share with all. Because it helps to convert movies. When we make a movie and want to play on our PC or mobile for this it should convert for this.
