PLEASE HELP EAccessViolation in module ntdll.dll

Recently the following error message pops up upon starting up my computer and no matter how many times I press 'OK' acknowledging the error it will not go away:

Exception EAccessViolation in module ntdll.dll at 0002AE22
Access violation at address 7C92AE22 in module 'ntdll.dll'.
Read of address 77206576.

I am running the following operating system:

Windows XP
Home Edition
Version 2002
Service Pack 2

It looks like some compatibility issue.
Any recent changes to your computer software/hardware?
What happens in Safe Mode?

    what about some computer specs e.g memory, hdd, processor
