find out the make and model of your sound card and re-install driver. Is Sound On-board or is it a PCI card?
www.Driverguide.com for a list of drivers for that card.
What OS are you running?

Thanks for the reply!
I'm running windows 98
Not for sure about on-board or pci card tho. I'm not real literate about these things, I went to my system info and still didn't figure that out. Can you help me on that?
I have some sound tho, but only b4 I connect to the internet, after that...nothing!
