motherboard , and overclocking .
« on: December 01, 2007, 02:36:21 PM »
I just upgraded my mobo to a Gigabyte S775 Intel P35 ATX Audio Lan DDRII FSB1333 , now the issues are as followed.

I am a overclocker .

I got this mobo on the grounds of the overclocking capabilities , now im stuck .

Everytime i try and change my cpus set frequency from 200 to 250 , i save my settings and the computer restarts .

Now when it restarts it comes back on , and turns off again , then it goes into a loading screen saying whats ok and whats not , then i get some sort of cmos error .
I go back into my bios after suffering the restarting torment to find everything has reset itself .

Any ideas??

Everything is connected right as far as im aware.

Tony :)

When i was told to set my ram volts and freq to auto , my motherboard told me to do it , to improve system performance , as i soon as i set it to manual , i could overclock .

      Running a 1.6ghz at 2.5ghz so far .

      cyrsis should run now .

Took a 3d marks test as well . got 15148 3d marks . that was at 1.9ghz havent even ran it again yet.

      Look at my temps:
