    Read the subject.

Read it again to make sure. . .
    Back? ok good.

    So where do you think?

I personally think ComputerHope could quite possible be the only one, that properly describes MS-DOS.

I wish to learn from something like a tutorial. . . like on http://htmlgoodies.com That's where I learnt HTML. . . anyway What makes MS-DOS so much better, then just normal Command Prompt(WinXP) or just simply going to ctrl Panel, and doing it yourself?

    (Topic moved to MS-DOS)

    Hello
First of all, DOS is not exactly a language, its an operating system, and, as stressed more by some of our other members (*cough* patio) Windows 2000 and up Command Prompt is not DOS, its an emulator. Still, whether an emulator or not, its a useful diagnostics tool. We often refer members here to commands instead of using the control panel since the commands, in many cases, are quicker, even when describing the process of how to open and use Command prompt.

Also, some tools that are avaliable in Command Prompt are not avaliable in the Control Panel, but this is a wide array of different things, and may not be worth going through...

Check out this page, its everything you need to know:

    A nice site to bookmark:
    http://www.vfrazee.com/ms-dos/6.22/help

That's what you used to get when you typed     help       at the command line.
    :)
Each command listed is a link.     With notes, examples, syntax, etc.

Be sure to note what it says at the very top regarding XP.
