Upgraded old 98 to windows 2000 but installed OS twice?
« on: December 05, 2007, 02:58:48 PM »
when my computer boots up, it now makes me make a choice between two different windows 2000 OS.  I recently upgraded my windows 98 to 2000, and it seems to have installed twice, how do i get rid of the one I don't use?  Thanks, C

To install Window so it it's the only OS you have to do a clean install which includes formating the hard drive.
Just remember you have to backup all your documents, favorites, drivers, pictures & music files you don't want to loose or they will be gone.
