Windows XP Migration Prob

Dear Users
I have brought a friends harddisk bec to install windows 2000 or XP in it on my PC
but after then i will put this harddisk in my friends PC so is there is any migration software or any process so that when i put the harddisk from my PC to his PC the windows dont get corrupted or give any problem

You will have problems then and would be looking at least at doing a repair install on it once it is in his machine...
Since Win2k Windows automatically ties itself to the hardware it is installed on...therefore the drive would be looking for your hardware not his and probably would'nt even boot...
Is there a reason you are attempting to do it this way ? ?
