reformatting drive from windows to mac
« on: December 06, 2007, 02:34:42 PM »
Hi.

I have an external hard drive I used with my PC and would like to erase it and format it to use with my Mac.  Is this possible and if so, how can it be done?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!!

Thank you and have a fabulous day!!

I'm not responsible for this answer, but I just asked my Mac friend, and this is what he said:

If your drive is formatted as FAT32 (drives 32GB, or less), it should be readable by Mac.
If you have NTFS partitioned drive, you'll have to erase it in Mac before you can format it.
