help with the sims please?

my sims says that its installed onto my computer, but everytime i put a disc in, it says its the wrong disc.ive put in every sims disc i own(4 dics- deluxe edition 1&2, Superstar 1&2) and it still says its please put in the proper disc. how do i fix this?

    is your CD drive fully functional? does it sometimes have a problem reading discs?

    I've read a lot of problems like this with Sims Deluxe. Seems a lot of them were fixed by downloading the patch:

    ive already downloaded that. and yea everything else works in it, its functional

      well, without having any personal experience on this issue, the best advice i can give you is to uninstall/reinstall the game.

        What OS are you on, b/c my sims has had some bcakwards compatibility issues.
        never stand between the dog and the hydrant.
