Post - beeps for usb devices?
« on: December 05, 2007, 12:58:55 PM »
I have a lenovo pc, and whenever I start it up, at POST it will beep.. It took me a while to figure it out, seems like I get one beep for every USB device.  So if I have 1 USB device plugged in it will beep once, if I have 2 USB devices plugged in it will beep twice, etc.

I've googled this problem and i'm not the only one with this problem.  What i'm wondering is how to turn off the beeps?? If anyone knows I could use your help!

consider this: you want to turn off the beeps right-

well, ok, this is a ground-breaking theory....

what if you unplug all the USB device before boot-up? perhaps,

just, maybe....

it won't beep :P
