I assume, you did install hide my ip 2007, correct?

1. Print this post out, since you won't have an access to it, at some point.

2. Close all windows, except for HijackThis.

3. Put a checkmark next to the following HijackThis entries:

4. Click on "Fix checked" button.

5. Restart your computer in Safe Mode (keep tapping F8 key, when your computer starts).

5a. Go Start>Run, type in:
services.msc
Hit Enter. Services window will open.
Look for: Viewpoint Manager Service
If it's listed as running, right click on it, and click Stop.
Right click again, click Properties, and under Startup type, change it to Disable

5b. Go Start>Control Panel>Add\Remove.
Uninstall any of the following programs associated with Viewpoint:
    * Viewpoint Manager
    * Viewpoint Media Player
    * Viewpoint Toolbar

6. Open Windows Explorer. Go Tools>Folder Options>View tab, put a checkmark next to "Show hidden files, and folders".

7. Delete following files/folders (if present):

- outlook folder from C:\Program Files

8. Turn off System Restore:

- Windows XP:
   1. Click Start.
   2. Right-click the My Computer icon, and then click Properties.
   3. Click the System Restore tab.
   4. Check "Turn off System Restore".
   5. Click Apply.   
   6.  When turning off System Restore, the existing restore points will be deleted. Click Yes to do this.
   7. Click OK.
- Windows Vista:
   1. Click Start.
   2. Right-click the Computer icon, and then click Properties.
   3. Click on System Protection under the Tasks column on the left side
   4. Click on Continue on the "User Account Control" window that pops up
   5. Under the System Protection tab, find Available Disks
   6. Uncheck the box for any drive you wish to disable system restore on (in most cases, drive "C:")
   7. When turning off System Restore, the existing restore points will be deleted. Click "Turn System Restore Off" on the popup window to do this.
   8. Click OK

9. Restart in Normal Mode.

10. Turn System Restore on.

11. Run HijackThis again, and post back its log back here.

I did install Hide My IP 2007, but uninstalled it looooong ago. And I don't have a firewall.  Will do what you asked though

For now, turn your Windows firewall on:
1.   Click Start, click Run, type Firewall.cpl, and then click OK.
2.   On the General tab, click On (recommended), and then click OK.

The closest folder I have to outlook in "C:\program files\" is Outlook Express, and it's not hidden.  Is that what you want me to delete?

Ok, when I try to fix those it says this:
"Hijack This cannot repair 010 Winsock LSP entries.
You should use LSPFix for that, which is available from http://www.cexx.org/lspfix.htm.

If the 010 item belongs to WebHancer, New.Net or CommonName, Spybot S&D can remove it automatically. Spybot S&D is available from http://www.spybot.info."

Doesn't sound good. I have S&D if you want me to use it.
Oh, I also did this when Windows wasn't running in Safe Mode.

#  Navigate to c:\lspfix and run the lspfix.exe program.

# Put a checkmark in the I know what I'm doing checkbox.

# Now move all instances of proxyfilter.dll file from Keep into the Remove section by clicking on the button that points to the right (>>). Make sure that you ONLY move the particular file no other files as it can cause problems with your computer afterwards.

# Press the finish button.

# Then Reboot.
