    intel boot agent
    « on: December 19, 2007, 05:59:39 AM »
in the past week and a half, or so, when booting up, or rebooting, I'm getting a dos screen, that basically says "intel boot agent" with some description. At the bottom of the description, there's a cursor mark rotating....this screen hangs for 15 secs or a little more, and then the computer boots up. I haven't done any changes to the bios or boot order.
Any idea why I'm seeing this screen. I believe only once, on same screen, I saw a warning, per say, that said something in reference to a prob with the hard drive.
Running Windows xp/sp2, Intel Pentium 4, 3.00gigahertz, 2048mg of ram, which was just added a few weeks ago....took out 2 512's and added 2, 1g's.
    any thoughts or opinions welcome.

What is the 'some description'? What does it say?

Oh, and the expression is 'per se', it's Latin.  ;D

thanks for the grammar lesson. Next time I boot up, I'll try to write down everything it says.
