I am in the process of cleaning up my software to get my computer running better. One problem I am having, and I'm really stumped, is that I cannot change my windows 98 appearance in the display properties dialog. When I try, it let's me select 'standard' from the drop down menu, but when I hit the 'apply' button the hourglass comes up and just freezes until I end task.
