Adding Ram to an Old Emachine
« on: December 29, 2007, 10:08:17 AM »
I have an almost 5 year old Emachine that has just 128 Ram in it and I REALLY need to upgrade the memory but I am not sure what would be compatible and how much actual  RAM I can add without causing issues.

Can anybody help me?? Outside of my RAM issues the computer has held up remarkably well.

EMachine T1100
OS- XP (pre installed)
Processor: 1.0 Ghz Intel Celeron
Ram: 128
HD- 20GB

We will need to know which motherboard is in there.

DLoad and install Everest Home (Free) and run a report.
Save the report to a text file.
Then copy and paste the Computer Summary section of the report and Post it here.

I've had problems with their scanner and eMachines MBoards.
But it's worth a shot...
