When I receive excel attachments in my hotmail account the worksheets will not display the data. Any ideas?

How are they being attached?
How are you viewing them?
These worksheets are from someone you know?
Which version of Excel do you have?  And which version do they have?

    Maybe a stupid (and pointless) question, but do you have Excel yourself?

    Heh, it's actually quite a valid question.  I've seen plenty of people asking for help with burning CD's, only to find out that they don't even have a burner.

      Just because most people have Excel on their computer when they install Microsoft Office. Then again, one can choose which programs to install.

      Are you trying to open it from the browser or downloading it to your computer then opening it?

      I've heard of problems with Word documents not opening right for some people unless they actually download and save the file from Hotmail. Excel might have the same issue. Try saving the file to your computer first, then opening it.
