Reinstalling Programs
« on: January 03, 2008, 12:26:29 PM »
I have Windows Vista on my C: drive. Long story short, all my programs are on there, even paid ones, some of which I don't have registration numbers for. I screwed up the registry, and had to reinstall Vista on my D: drive.

Anyway to transfer over programs? Back-up and restore? I still have access to the C: and the D: installations.

Thanks
Dominic

Programs cannot simply be copied /moved and expected to run properly...
Sorry. You may be out of luck.
However you may want to give the Files and Settings Transfer Wizard a try but i don't predict 100% success...
