Need Help With Simple(I hope) Win Live Mail Problem
« on: January 06, 2008, 11:31:07 AM »
I have been using Vista for about 3 months now with little or no problems.  That is untill I started using Win. Live Mail.  :(  I have found it really great to check my 2 e-mail accounts at the same time  ;D other than this annoying error message for which I hope there is an easy fix.  In a lot of my e-mails for my business I get links to web pages and when I click on them I get this  :-X error message.  >:( This file does not have a program assoc with it to perform this action.  Create an assoc in Set Assoc in Control Panel.   >:( I hope there is a easy solution to this  ;) if not, step by step instructions would really help  ;D I have looked at about 20 pages in the forum to see if any1 else has asked for help with this problem with no luck :(
I hope some1 can.

It looks as if WinLive Mail does not have a default browser selected to open hotlinks.
Check in Tools/Options for a setting for using your default browser either IE or Firefox whichever you use...
