    Strange Internet Problem
    « on: January 12, 2008, 07:30:11 AM »
Hello experts, I have a problem I was trying to figure out for a week but to no avail.  First off, the problem: Whenever I try to open a browser (firefox mostly) it says "Done" at the bottom left and shows me a blank page.  I tried the address bar, search bar for firefox but I still get a blank page.  I tried IE and it gave me a "Page could not be displayed" or something like that.  I pressed the connection test at the page and it told me it had to restart the Winsocks Provider Catalog.  It did and told me to restart.  I restarted my laptop and the internet works for a while then goes back to blank pages.  There is nothing wrong with my connection because I have utorrent on and there seems to be no problem.  I have Nod32 antivirus and Zonealarm security suite which I used to scan my computer (no viruses).  Both browsers were working perfectly before.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks in advance
