Deleting Temporary Internet Files - HELP
« on: January 08, 2005, 12:42:56 PM »
I cannot clear my Temp Internet Files.  The computer locks up every time I try.  I have forgotten the command thru The "Run" menu....  Apparently I let the file get too large to delete thru options...Win98

Josh Ross...try this ......Tools/Internet Options .........but instead of using the delete files button ....click on the settings button ...then click on the view files button.....now all should show up and then try and delete them a few at a time .......

let us know if that will work for you .

Josh Ross......ok .....go to that file the same way and then click edit and select all....then delete and let it go ...it hopefully will delete all without locking up .

If you have "millions" perhaps you should try lowering the ammount of disk space to use for your temp files?
