desktop icons

have uninstalled programs on puter put the icons wont go away that are on my desktop. Ive tried to delete them and they r still there. Have any idea what the problem might be.

You can use unlocker to delete the icons. It comes with a readme file
to explain how to use it. Go to the below link.

ok have downloaded this program but when i try to  delete the icons a box that says   eroor starting program then says the psapi file is linked to missing export NTD.DLL:stricmp shows upand then another box is under there that says access to specified, device,path,or file is denied. Do  u knnow what that might be

oops the program was unblocker that i downloaded and this program didnt say anything the icons i was trying to delete shas popup window that say what i wrote in previous post.
