Hello,

I see this is your first post here on Computer Hope.
Welcome!    :)

Here's a couple friendly tips, to help the great folks that hang out here to be able to help you:

Start a new topic.   If you tag along on the end of somebody else's thread, your questions won't get the attention they deserve.
Especially old threads.     This one is from way back in last September!   ;)

It'll take you about 2 minutes to read, max.

It'll take less than a minute to read.

When you are ready to post,  for the problem you've described,  I suggest the Hardware board.     This is the   Other->FAQ Solution Database -> Hardware board.    I can see how you chose it.   :)
But -  there is a    Hardware -> Computer Hardware board  and it would probably be best.
You'll find it listed here:    http://www.computerhope.com/forum/index.php

In response to your question:    Yes,  I've seen that sort of problem described here in the boards before.    So I bet that when you post in the Hardware board,  that you will get some useful replies.

Along with the other info that you'll be providing,  you might want to have a   look inside your computer, and observe the fan on the cpu.    Is it spinning?
Include that in your post.

Again,   Welcome to CH.       :D
