    I have a Dell Dimension 4100 and when ever I connect to the internet.  Some times when I tell it to disconnect it won't an I don't know its still on.

              If connection icon is there, can you disconnect by using the icon?
              And, please, make 4-5 sentences to describe whole situation, because I'm far from being a dentist...

                Yes, But when I do it shows that I am disconnected but some how its still connected would having automatic on cause this?  I don't think it would have since you have to verify in order to connect.

                  I try to keep it up to date.  Avast virus scanner, AVG AntiSpyware, Spybot, Adaware, pop-up blocker
