    scandsk from command prompt? or?>

    i need to check if my harddrive is bad. it wont take a windows install. i get constant reboots.

    how can i check if its gone bad, or can i run scandisk from command prompt?

    I recommend bootdisk.com

    They've got a bunch of boot disks you can download, boot off of, and then use to run scandisk.
