How to figure if I need more memory?
    « on: February 15, 2008, 09:42:03 AM »
I am running Windows XP on a computer with an AMD 1800+ 1.49 GHz. with 256 of RAM. I don't think alot of memory is being used, but I'm having an issue with itunes freezing up at times (Eventually unfreezes). Someone had said running itunes with 800 songs uses alot of memory. How do I know which kind to get and do I purchase another 256?

You can travel to crucial.com's website and have it scan your system...it will tell you exactly what type of RAM that machine will use.
Write down the info and then shop around for the best deal.
I'd recommend at least an additional 512 stick...
