Word, Powerpoint, Excel, etc is all part of the Microsoft Office package. This is not a something that comes pre-installed with XP. You buy and install the Office package separately.
The only possible exception is if you bought a computer where XP and the Office package was preinstalled by the manufacturer. In that case you should have received some kind of system restore option that returns the computer to the factory default configuration.
