why is my music player stopping??

    i have had a problem with my audio/ video player stopping after about 45 seconds, ever since i got a wireless usb connection. why is this?

windows xp, all players.. youtube, myspace... ever since i got a wireless router and a usb wireless connection...  also, i don't know how to make the connection secure..

These are web sites, not players. They use Flash Player for playing videos.
Can you play regular music, and video files (not from the web sites)?
What are your computer specs: processor speed, RAM amount, HD space/free space?
