    does someone know is there a program such as nero or others that i can download for free to burn a movie on dvd.

      BurnAware Free Edition can burn video dvd's and disc images. But depending what format your movies are in, and what item to play them in (PC, DVD Player, Mobile, etc), you need to ideally convert them to another format for item specific playability....

      Often, reading the posts here on CH,   I have seen CDBurnerXP recommended.
      Click on "Old Forum seach" towards the bottom of this page and you can search for posts containing comments on it.
