Someone help, or I may be in trouble for a long time.
« on: February 22, 2008, 08:52:02 AM »
Ok, so i was looking at some sites of "questionable content" today, and everything was great.  I was careful to cover my tracks and delete history, but still the sites show up in the browser drop down box.  Does anyone know what I should do here?  Also is there any other pieces of evidence that i should destroy?  Any help would be appreciated.

We will need to know what browser (don't forget the version) and version of Windows you use.

Click on Help/About in IE and it will show the version #

    And don't worry ...that's why we're here.

In IE select Tools --> Internet Options.
On the General tab click the Delete... button.
If you want to wipe your browsing history completely click the Delete All button.
If you have saved passwords you want to keep then don't click the Delete All button.
Instead click the buttons that deletes files, cookies, history and forms.

If you want to stop IE from saving website addresses you've visited, click the Content tab.
Click the Settings button in the AutoComplete frame.
      Uncheck Web addresses.
      Hit Ok when done.
