« on: February 26, 2008, 02:17:53 PM »
Each time I try and start up my computer, it gets past the windows logo, and then I see a blue error message and the computer reboots. I've tried everything, someone please help. And I'm running windows 2000

Use the Pause/break key to stop the blue screen as soon as you see it and post the exact error message including all those #'s and symbols...

I tried that, it won't let me pause the screen, it goes away in like a millisecond :-\

Jordan this is what most people call the

    Blue Screen of Death

Well since you claim that you can't pause/break when the screen appears, you could make a video with your digital camera or video camera if you have one.

If you do, depending on your FPS, Good would be 60-100 FPS for this situation because you'll be able to capture the blue screen.

So turn on your video camera, start to record, turn on your computer, make sure camera is facing your monitor, and hopefully when the blue screen comes you can get it in your video camera.

Then if it does, just rewind it and just pause when it gets to the blue screen and post what it says, well its just what Broni just said about the numbers and letters

      HAHAHAH you got OWNED!!

I highly recommend you never d/l a game from the internet.

First of all if the game is for free, like you don't have to pay to get the game, (example: Wolfenstien: Enemy Territory), the website of the game will have a download link for where you can d/l the game from.

However if you d/l a game where you have to buy the game with money, (Example: Enemy Territory: Quake Wars) it is very hard to d/l the actual game and the game is working properly, without a Virus.
