I can't download pic

I have a Sony laptop, Intel, windows xp.
When I try to copy pictures from MY PICTURES to a CD it gives me this message, e:\ not accessible incorrect function.  I have downloaded music to Cd's before but I can't download pics. Can you help???????????????

What program are you using to transfer those pictures?
