Annoying popup

How do I stop the popup that says "This version of windows is out of date and needs to be upgraded?"

I have Windows XP Home edition SP1 and I don't want to upgrade to SP2.

How can I stop the popup?

      The only way to stop is to update!!  SP2 is good....... :o

      Go legit.
      There's no reason to not be running SP2 as it is a major OS upgrade...not just a Security patch as it's been called since day one.
