Good, if the themes tab is there then it's not in safe mode - I take it you have an attractive looking green start button ?

First lets sort out your display then get onto the applications/printer problems.

Right click desktop > properties > settings tab

Adjust the screen resolution slider towards 'more'

Did you manage to get Firefox/Yahoo Messenger/printer working?

Are all other applications working ok?

You might want to try opening all the applications within your start menu just to test them.

Let us know what problems you have...

I started a new forum about how I can learn to open mozilla forum and yahoo, they won't open...
